TOP 200-Optical probe for radiation and brightness measurement

The TOP 200 optical probe is based on a Pritchard-style optical design with an integrated viewfinder camera.

Features:

•   Pritchard-style optical design is equipped with an aperture lens with an inclination of only 15º, which can provide a very round and clear image point

•   Flexible connection of optical fiber and patented mode mixer for reproducible readings, and extremely low polarization sensitivity

•   6 measuring point sizes that can be selected by software

•   Internal viewfinder camera with wide field of view

• The   smallest measuring point: 80 µm

•   Optional lighting of the test object

TOP 150 is a low-cost alternative with a single aperture.

Measurement application

The measured radiation intensity is coupled to the spectrometer by the TOP 200 through a multi-mode fiber. Instrument Systems' patented mode mixer ensures uniform light transmission in the fiber, and can produce reproducible readings even if the position of the fiber is changed.

The Pritchard principle supports observing the field of view during the measurement process and monitoring the field of view for accurate positioning. The image of the viewfinder camera is automatically imported by the SpecWin Pro software and saved with the readings.
