High-quality coating and high measurement accuracy
Through the ISP series, Instrument Systems has developed a complete set of integrating spheres for individual LEDs as well as lamps and lighting equipment. These integrating spheres are accessories of CAS series spectrometers , and many measurement tasks in laboratories and production require them. The internal geometry of all integrating spheres of Instrument Systems has been optimized to show high measurement accuracy. The high-quality barium sulfate coating has extremely high long-term stability and is suitable for the 240 to 2600 nm spectral range.
The ISP series integrating sphere has a lateral measurement port for measuring the luminous flux in the 2π configuration, in which only the forward radiation is measured. If a larger ball is used, the sample can also be fixed in the center of the ball to measure the luminous flux in the 4π configuration. Therefore, the emission in all directions can be measured, and the total luminous flux can be measured.
Integrating sphere suitable for every light source
The decisive factor in choosing a suitable integrating sphere is the maximum size of the light source to be measured. The small ISP integrating sphere (75-150 mm) is specially used to measure a single LED and is suitable for many laboratories and production lines. The medium-sized ISP integrating sphere (250–1000 mm) is suitable for measuring various LED modules and lighting equipment, while the ISP 2000 integrating sphere is used for measuring particularly large and heavy lighting equipment and SSL products .
For the measurement of VCSEL and micro LED , for example, when developing new display technology, the integrating sphere of Instrument Systems is also an important part of the measurement device in the customer's laboratory.
Instrument Systems provides the ISP 150 integrating sphere, which is used to determine the transmittance or reflectance of diffuse scattering samples . Its design meets DIN 5036's diffuse reflectance measurement requirements: 150 mm inner diameter, 25 mm measurement port, and 8o incident angle.
