LumiTop 4000/2700 – Innovative design, combining imaging and spectral measurement technologyInstrument Systems' LumiTop 4000 and LumiTop 2700 imaging photometric colorimeters are used with CAS spectrometers to measure the brightness and color uniformity of displays in the production line. They also include a photodiode, so they have the advantages of three different types of measuring instruments: -Ultra-high accuracy in spectral point measurement -Analysis options of image colorimeter -The time resolution of the photodiode. The patented optical design allows simultaneous measurement of all three sensors at one time. The accurate spectrum measurement is used as an instant reference and transmitted to the complete display area of the camera. In this way, the measurement time is extremely short, and all relevant optical tests can be performed in one test station. There are two basic versions of LumiTop: -LumiTop 4000 (CMOS) with 12 MP RGB sensor -LumiTop 2700 (CCD) with 6 MP RGB sensor LumiTop 4000 developed from LumiTop 2700 can detect and analyze smaller defects and unevenness. When used with a 100 mm lens, it can perform single-pixel analysis (limited field of view). Due to the HW trigger, it is also suitable for applications that use a timed measurement process (such as optical testing of μLED wafers). Its high-brightness mode extends the dynamic range and is particularly suitable for measuring modulated displays and light sources (such as OLED displays). LumiTop – the perfect solution for optical production testingThe LumiTop system was specially developed for display measurement in production facilities. From smart watch displays to TVs, backlight units or μLED wafers, measurement solutions using our LumiTop cameras can provide fast and accurate results for quality control.
